چکیده
Abstract The comprehensive utilization of wood is the main goal log cutting, but knot defects increase difficulty rationally optimizing cutting. Due to lack real shape data in logs, it difficult for detection methods establish a correlation between signal and defect morphology. An image-processing method proposed inversion based on distance regularized level set segmentation (DRLSE) spatial vertex clustering, with existing relative board position log, an model established. First, edges top bottom images boards are extracted by DRLSE ellipse fitting, major axes ellipses made coplanar angle correction; second, coordinate points form straight line; third, solve intersection dispersion lines axis plane, K-medoids clustering used locate vertex. Finally, large ellipse, 3D cone constructed which can be invert knots board. experiment was conducted ten defective larch boards, experimental results showed that this accurately shapes solid advantages low cost easy operation.

Regularization analysis of three-dimensional magnetotelluric inversion
Inversion of MT data is an inherently nonunique and unstable problem due to the ill-posedness of the electromagnetic inverse problem. A variety of models may fit the data very well. To overcome this illposed nature of the inverse problem, we use Tikhonov’s regularization in which the ill-posed problem is replaced by a family of well-posed problems. We also analyze the behavior of the Tikhonov r...
متن کاملThree - dimensional quasi - linear electromagnetic inversion
One of the most challenging problems of electromagnetic (EM) geophysical methods is developing three-dimensional (3-D) EM inversion techniques. This problem is of utmost importance in practical applications because of the 3-D nature of the geological structures. The main difficulties in 3-D inversion are related to (1) limitations of 3-D forward modeling codes available and (2) ill-posedness of...

Classical electromagnetism and quantum mechanics are both central to the modern understanding of the physical world and its ongoing technological development. Quantum simulations of electromagnetic forces have the potential to provide information about materials and systems that do not have conveniently solvable theoretical descriptions, such as those related to quantum Hall physics, or that ha...
متن کاملThree-Dimensional Face Recognition ⁄
An expression-invariant 3D face recognition approach is presented. Our basic assumption is that facial expressions can be modelled as isometries of the facial surface. This allows to construct expression-invariant representations of faces using the canonical forms approach. The result is an efficient and accurate face recognition algorithm, robust to facial expressions that can distinguish betw...
متن کاملModeling of three-dimensional cutting forces in micro-end-milling
A new nominal uncut chip thickness algorithm for micro-scale end-milling is proposed by considering the combination of an exact trochoidal trajectory of the tool tip and tool run-out, and then the actual uncut chip thickness may be obtained from a comparison between the current accumulative uncut chip thickness and the minimum chip thickness. Due to the intermittency of the chip formation, the ...
